THE BRAND

La Casera is a traditional Spanish brand of soda. It is one of the most popular soft sweet fizzy drinks in Spain, also

known as gaseosa. Served as a regular soda, or mixed in with wine, beer or ripe fruits to produce worldly known beverages such as Tinto de Verano, Clara or sangria.

THE PROJECT

The challenge was to rethink and redesign the brand from three angles: the brand identity (graphic), the bottle and a private space or shot that encompassed the rebranding.

THE APPROACH

We wanted to celebrate all things Spanish without shame; the tacky, the witty, the gossip… No excuses, not negotiable. We did not want to go away from the brand’s heritage, as an usual redesign would do; to jump on “the trendy” way and make something that compromised La Casera’s essence. Quite the opposite. We wanted to dig deep on the “Spanish way” of seeing things, to turn around all the Spanish topics in a fun way that connected to both young and elder audiences.
