ESDI is a university school of design, affiliated to the Ramon Llull University, with 35 years of experience training designers.
The teaching method followed at ESDI seeks a balance between three components: the theoretical foundations that form the basis of learning, the tools and languages that enable the ideas to be put into practice, and the approach to professional reality thanks to collaboration with companies. This is conveyed through three different types of subjects: conceptual subjects, which provide knowledge and skills from the Humanities and Social Sciences; instrumental subjects, which show the tools and materials that are essential to understand the types of products to be designed; and project subjects, which teach the design working methodology.
